Studies on smart cities and digitization often focus on digital involvement and digital capital as key factors influencing academic achievement, employment, and services. The physical environment is rarely the focus, with digitization seen as virtual infrastructure supporting city life. These projects view the city holistically and see digital differences normatively, assuming non-users are disadvantaged. However, it's necessary to view participation within broader parameters. This research explores digital differentiation in various city locales, viewing digital use as part of daily life. It examines the "Urban Digital Lifestyle,” which involves the interplay of (1) socioeconomic status, (2) residence’s socio-spatial traits, and (3) digital practices, shaping residents' digital lifestyles.
